Having always had an interest in Engineering since a very young age, Computing was a natural step for me. I have been programming C/C++ in Linux for over two years now, following a period of Visual C++ development which was initiated by a brief period of Visual Basic. Being a big fan of RedHat and Linux in general, I quickly moved to my current favourite development platform. In addition to coding I also script in Perl. This came before C/C++ for me, but gave me the taste for development that I needed to get me started. Perl also opened me to the sleepless nights and long starving days that are required to enable a programmer to fully appreciate the work of others. This lead me to Open Source, of which I am a big believer. Currently my only available open source project is WebWalker, however I feel give more time and when WebWalker nears first release, I will start others. Hopefully my coding skills will grow with these projects so I can develop more and more sophisticated tools for the open source community. In summary, you can be rest assured that I work very hard on my projects, and will endevour to produce the best product I can using what I have available.
